This program is specifically designed to prepare Seasoned Leaders and Technical Executives, at short notice, for Board and/or Advisory Committee presentations.

- Technical Experts who are being asked to present to a Board/Advisory Committee Meeting for the first time, at short notice
Learning Outcomes
This program equips executives with:
- an independent external perspective
- an understanding of the function of Boards & Advisory Committees and areas of interest
- the ability to prepare succinct and impactful Board presentations & reports, including the editing of your own work going forward to ensure it is tailored to your audience
- the confidence to engage Board directors, communicate effectively and respond to questions in Boards/Advisory Committee meetings
Program Overview
This program is specifically designed to prepare Executives for Board/Advisory Committee Meetings at short notice - ideally 4-6 weeks prior to a Board meeting. Minimum time requirement: 3 weeks prior to the Board meeting
All training and guidance is provided within the Executive's schedule.
Intensively tailored to participant's requirements, broadly it involves:
- Initial review of Board report to be submitted - this is the final that you are considering submitting
- 1:1 Session A: The role of Boards, tailoring to your audience including a discussion of specific areas for improvement in the Board report
- 2nd review of the Board report
- 1:1 Session B: Discussion of the Board report for Final Submission & how to present effectively to Boards/Advisory Committees
- Review of presentation slides (optional depending on topic and Board Ask)
- 1:1 Session C: Discussion of the Presentation, key messages and potential Questions & Answers, as well as practice using video as a tool
- Debrief on feedback from Board members and/or Direct Managers
